Lecture 12 - Post Modernism Lecture

Initially born out of optimism, an inspirational reaction to world war 1, with a view of harnessing technology to improve people's lives.
Modernism is associated with experimentation, innovation, individualism, progress, purity, originality and seriousness.

Postmodern:

  • Equivalent of "late capitalism"
  • artistic and stylistic
